BRIEF HISTORY OF ORIGIN OF SABBATH FAITH IN NIGERIA

The literal history of "Sabbath Faith" in Nigeria, entails her date of birth or origin, geography, and human instrument behind the beginning of The Faith in Nigeria.

The first indigenous Sabbath Faith system of Worship in Nigeria, has a remarkable Divine Spiritual Drive from The Most High; Chiukwu or Chineke to the Igbos in Nigeria, Who is Widely known to all as, YAHWEH.

The exceptional events that occurred amidst the the birth or origin of The Sabbath Faith, are worth mentioning, and the spread of The Faith in various places and communities in Nigeria, and Africa, that gave rise to membership of same from One member, to now thousands and millions of membership in various Synagogues or Assemblies, all over , and Nigeria, and beyond, and the human instruments, their devices and strategies adopted in the spread of The Faith, needs mentioned hereon.

The Holy Sabbath Worship System is a unique Spiritual dispensational services, that displays it's uniqueness with relation to "Holy Scriptural" (Biblical) similarities in Nigeria, and world at large. Such True Historical background, holds to it's foundation on a major Character named, Prophet Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwibari, of Akwete, at Eastern (Igbo land), part of Nigeria, (1856 - 1957).

Oral history has it that, Prophet Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwibari, of the blessed memory, was indeed the person The Most High Yahweh used in founding of The Sabbath Faith in Igboland, Nigeria in 1913, contrary to faulty and misleading history of same (stated hereunder), that Sir Elijah Bakana (Rev Garrick Sokari Daketime Maruan Braide - 1882 - 1918), started the Sabbath Faith in Nigeria.

History has it that The Sabbath Faith founding Cleric, DEE EKEKE LOLO ELIJAH NWAIBARI was first converted his Parents traditional faith worship to Anglican Christian faith, CMS Anglican Cathedral church. He started manifesting the unction of Divine Grace and Wonders within the two decades of the 20th century. In one of his attendance to Sunday church service in 1913, in the Anglican Church in Akwete, he experienced an extra Divine gift of prophecies and healing through him, that does not suit the worship system of Anglican church.

There was on Sunday he was on his way to attend a church service, being pressed on the way, he choose to answer natures call, but in the process, he fell into a pit toilet, wherein he heard The Voice of YAHWEH (CHIUKWU), Telling him that that His True Day of Worship was a Day before Sunday, being Saturday (Sabbath Day), not on Sunday he was on his way to church service. The Voice he heard, instructed him henceforth, to go and start Worshipping Him on every Saturday, SABBAF (meaning SHABBATH, but he called it, SABBAF, as it sounded to him, not knowing what it was then. He thereafter, miraculously climbed safe and sound, from the pit toilet. This Divine encounter led him into some charismatic missionary waves with flair for exorcism, and miraculous healings. He was caught up in a vision that kindled his Spiritual experience, that lead to some glorious feats in his life.

He, through Divine guide and strenth, defeated the one time, evil deity - idol/ agbara, (Iyi-Eke), of his home land in Akwete. This said evil deity (iyi-eke) possess great powers then, and occupies a good land mass, full of deadly totems, such as pythons, tigers, and likes in the services of the then evil deity. In this land, he (Dee Ekeke) contended with many deadly totems in the dreaded land, by killing seven (7) pythons, and seven tigers (odum), defeated the evil deity (idol - iyieke), and took over one time dreadful land, occupied by the evil deity.

There, he erected a healing house, and later a Worship Center, that enables the gathering on every Saturday (Sabbath Day), to Worship The Creator of Heaven and earth, as He instructed to mankind. This gave birth to the first indigenous Spiritual Congregation (Ulo Ekpere in Igboland and Nigeria, hence The Origin of Holy Sabbath Day, Divine Worship in Igboland, and Nigeria in general.

It's expedient here, that Dee Ekeke Lolo, embarked on several days of fasting and prayers, on differebt occasions, in strict Obedience to The Divine Injunction of The Most High Yahweh (Chukwuokike), that enabled him to defeat all evil attacks from wicked men and woman, and evil spirits. This gave him room to dominate the landed properties of the defeated evil deity, Iyieke (idol). The defeat and destruction of this one time dreaded deity, iyieke (odol), did not however not go down well with the evil people of Akwete, that came hard on Dee Ekeke Lolo, for destroying their one time dreaded deity, but The Most High Yahweh Who was always on his side, Turned their evil efforts his adversaries back to them, by voiding the evil accusations made against him, by Divine Strength and Gift from Above, on Dee Ekeke Lolo. False accusations in court against him from same evil group of people, also turned agaunst them, as it damned on the then magistrate hearing the matter then, that Papa Dee Ekeke Lolo, was no ordinary person, and he (the magistrate) dismissed all the false allegations made against him and acquitted him. The then magistrate, indeed, also humbly listened and submitted to Divine message on him, from Dee Ekeke Lolo.

In all Dee Ekeke Lolo new found Faith in Sabbath was truly tested, not limited to death projections on him and his household members, yet The Most High Yahweh, in all his conditions never abandoned him, but rather strengthened him and gave him Utmost Victory, as evidenced today, in the wide growth and spread of Sabbath Faith in Nigeria, and worldwide, with it's attendant Strength, blessings and Sanctification, Protection and Divine Assurance fromThe Holy One of Yisrael, forever, Selah !!!

Land Consecration, for The Erection of First Divine Altar, for Burnt Offering in Sabbath Faith, in Nigeria:

Dee Ekeke Lolo, having acquired a lot of land of the defeated evil deity (iyieke), like Moshe (Moses) of old, was granted the Privilege to erect the first ever Holy Altar of Burnt Offerings dedicated to YAHWEH ALMIGHTY, in Igboland, Nigeria, in Obedience to TORAH (LAW) of YAHWEH OF Hosts Standards, even though he was not learned. The Holy Sacrifices were then and thereafter made by Dee Ekeke Lolo to The Most High Yahweh, on The Holy Altar of Yahweh, that made sudden and mysterious deaths, evil sicknesses, arising from the destruction of from the destruction of the evil and defeated deity (iyieke), to stop forth with, including great healings, came upon Akwete community.

Thus, The Most Yahweh of Hosts, by This Glorious Altar of His, through Dee Ekeke Lolo, disclosed the election of African Priesthood lineage of Blessed Dee Ekeke Lolo, whose eyes like Blessed Moshe (Moses) are always fixed on above, communing with The Almighty Yahweh of Hosts, for His Divine Direction and Solution to any matter on hand. One of his clear Divine way of healing then, was standing on two branch stick (osisi agba) for any sick person, no matter the sickness, where the affected sick person will hold unto, as healing follows shortly. Items used for healing by him are, "Aja Nso" and "Miri Nso" (a running healing Water), that history informed, he requested from The Most High Yahweh, for healing, and he was Directed to a land spot, where he was instructed to stamp his feet, and underneath came forth spring water. Though the miraculous spring water source is no more, due to civil developments, but its extension now as river still exists, and its accepted by the beloved in The Faith, as healing Water.

First Branch Mission: Dee Ekeke Lolo healed a man by name, Ihenko of his illness, who in appreciation, donated a large portion of his land at Obozu, Azumiri, Abia State, Nigeria, where he opened a branch of Foundation Holy Sabbath.

Prophet Dee Keke Lolo was spiritual in extending an "open" hand and heart regarding central system of priesthood, that runs contrary to today's filial (family based) priesthood. He expediently laid the foundation for the speedy spread of The Sabbath Faith in Igbo land, and Nigeria in general, to global bliss and wonders. This he did by making sure that no minister was detained, to serve him for ever.

Dee Keke Lolo cleanses any of his trainees on a fast track of days, or weeks or few months latest; ordains them and send them to return his/her home and start a ministry immediately. For instance, one Shepherd Udoh was cleansed under one month and sent to his home town to start up a Sabbath based ministry. Similarly, Rev. Dr Mark Onuabuchi of Amichi, Papa Jeremiah Osuolu, Prophet Okere Oteh Lolo, Mother Agnes Nwanyinma Ukwu, Papa Ikpeogu of Ogbunike, Blesseed Jackson Udoh, James Akpanti, Simeon Esendu, Mother Elizabeth Uchendu, and others yet to be identified, encountered Papa Dede Ekeke Lolo at Akwete, and drank from his good well of divine apprenticeship. There are claims that some founding African or Aladura clerics; Baba Moses Orimolade, Pastor Bada Oshofa, Prophet Agnes Okoh, etc, also met with the Sabbath founder in Nigeria.

From the above trainees that passed under the divine tutelage of Dee Keke Lolo , that Sabbath Faith spread in Igbo land, Nigeria, Africa and beyond to date.

Family Tree of Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibari:

The great icon, Dee Ekeke Lolo, was borne to EKEKE NWAIBARI (late father), and Lolo Elizabeth (late mother) in 1863. He was the only son of his late mother then, as his late father married five wives. This lead his late mother, in agreement with her husband (Dee Ekeke Lolo's late father), to deny him the rare western education of his time, to avoid being handled against their traditional belief, probably. Tradition revealed that his late mother was a sister to the then great king Jaja of Opobo land, Igboland, Nigeria; who was then a slave boy in Akwete, as when she was married from Amaigbo Nkwerre, Igbolsnd Nigeria, to Sir Ekeke Nwaibari of Akwete.

Dee Ekeke Lolo's parents were then indigenous religious faithfuls, and entire Akwete, Ndoki land, worshipped then this evil deity (Iyi-Eke), in the entire Niger Delta, Nigeria, which was Destroyed by The Most High Yahweh, through Dee Ekeke Lolo in 1913, who before then, grew and lived in indigenous religious faith, of his parents, into becoming a powerful herbalist and fortune telling, with gloriously prophetic process and wonders, before he was converted by The Most High Yahweh, Creator of Heaven and earth, Spoke to Him to throw off his indigenous 'ofor', and return to Serve and Worship Him as He Instructed in His Holy Commandments, which he believed, alongside The Holy Sabbath Day Worship, by The Special Grace of YAHWEH of Hosts, before Dee Ekeke Lolo's glorious exit from this planet earth. Brief History of Late High Priest Dee Okere Otee Ekeke Lolo:

High Priest Dee Okere Otee Ekeke Lolo, second son of blessed Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibari, was born a twin, alongside Diogu Ekeke Lolo, who was the first son of Dee Ekeke Lolo, but died without kids. Their father, Dee Ekeke Lolo's kids were under poisonous attacks, by agents of darkness, then in Akwete. Diogu died, but Okere survived, and his recovery prompted his father, Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibari, to send him to his maternal home for refuge, as the 'Igbo' adage says, "Oso chuwa nwata, ogbala Ikwu Nneya". However, Okere visits home occasionally. Okere, remains at his maternal home, until the death of his father, Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibari, in 1957, who appeared to him then, in a Lion form (Ohiri Agu). When Okere arroved home, following the sign he got, Late Shepherd Mother Nwanyinma Cookeye, who was praying toThe Almighty Yahweh, to bring back Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibairi's Successor (Dee Okere), on sighting him, led him through all activities, and handed him over the father's Ministry.

On the handover, the gift of prophecy and healing fell upon Dee Okere, and thus began his ministry. He did so great, that included the building of the first Sabbath Faith Temple, of Foundation Holy Sabbath, Standing at Akwete till date. He followed the good foot paths of his late father, that led to his training many Holy Sabbat clerics, more than his father.

The Faulty Story of History of Sabbath in Nigeria!

It has been wrongly claimed that Sir Elijah Bakana started the Sabbath Faith in Igbo land, Nigeria.

Truly, Rev. Garrick Sokari Daketime Marian Braide: Elijah of Bakana (1882-1918), was indeed a colossus in the christian history of Niger Delta, with his evangelical ministry, Garrick Braide Movement at St. Andrew Anglican Church, Bakana, Kalabari, having been baptized there in 1910, at age 28, held oral testimony on Rev. Garrick Sokari Braide. He was noted to be a gifted Evangelist in Anglican church, where he was given the title, Elijah Bakana, because of his historic and gracious anointing of pulling down idols, and destruction of shrines, like Biblical Elijah did against baal and its prophets at mount Carmel.

His evangelical exploits also gave him a hard catastrophic hit against alcoholism badly championed by British imperialists. The fortune/tax made by the imperialists on alcohol sales, depleted greatly, that led them to persecute Elijah Bakana, in no small measure, including his arrest and unjust imprisonment in early 1916. However, The Most High showed him Grace through, disciples to get him out of Prison in 1918 and died in same year, held oral testimony. He, Elijah Bakana of blessed memory, died a christian and not a Sabbatharian, in his informal Garrick Braide Movement that never worshipped on the Sabbath Day. On his demise in 1918, his disciples, notably Prophet Coket Braide S.O. guided themselves into converting the 'Garrick Braide Evangelical Movement into a congregational church, known today as 'Christ Army Church' that gathers for worship on Sundays, not Sabbath (Seventh day), to date.
From forgoing, it's evident spiritually and physically, that The Most High YAHWEH to His Glory, used Prophet Dee Ekeke Lolo Elijah Nwaibari, to start *Sabbath Faith, in Nigeria, and beyond!!!!!!!

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SABBATH ANOINTED ELDERS AND MEN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (SAEMA NIGERIA).

The emergence of The SABBATH ANOINTED ELDERS AND MEN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (SAEMA NIGERIA), could be likened to a child of circumstance. The idea to form the Sabbath Elders Association of Nigeria was conceived by group of individual elders in representation of their various assemblies at the forum of the United Voice of Sabbath Church, Apapa zone, Lagos State. This was in realization of their carved out call/duties and objectives with the initial name, “The Elders of United Voice of Sabbath Church, Apapa zone.

Saddened by the leadership tussles, lack of cohesion, Acrimonies, etc, within the then United Voice of Sabbath Church, Apapa Zone, Lagos State, and the truth of the gospel seemingly contradicted, the elders needed especially to protect the moral and Personal Character of The Almighty YAHWEH, which is “TRUTH” and were willing to part with anything for it.

Also, the single belief that the Truth is that by which the heart must be guided and governed, for without Truth, there is no goodness. It is by the Power of Truth known and believed that we must be kept back from sin.

Moreover, the perceived huge deficit of leadership capital and competencies in the faith and many individuals taking decisions for the institution, so the elders wanted to make a difference; rebuild the system whereby elders could be groomed to become excellent mission focused leaders. Hence the inauguration of the group since the first quarter of 2007, under the interim chairmanship, secretary and financial secretary of Senior Elder Dennis Nnoruka Okeke, Elder Theophilus Nnadi and Elder Vincent Okolo, respectively.

It was thorough going against odds which were envisaged onsets and the attack by the then leadership of the United Voice of Sabbath Church, Apapa Zone, Lagos State, Nigeria, who described the move as rebellious.

Also, the unworkable attempts of some assembly heads/overseers who saw the elders group as a threat to their authority; and by extension discouraged and/or outrightly barred and banned their elders from joining the bandwagon. With zeal and knowledge of the few members who mobilized themselves to visit various assemblies in the nook and cranny of Apapa Zone, the vision of the founding fathers of the association were fulfilled.

The maiden democratic general election of its officials was conducted and senior elder Dennis Nnoruka Okeke emerged the first democratically elected executive chairman of the Elders of United Voice of Sabbath Church, Apapa Zone, Lagos.

To whom much is given, much is expected; senior elder Okeke with the entire visionary executive committee worked tirelessly for sustenance and emancipation of the group. With massive Evangelical outreach, well coordinated democratic settings, members of the board of trustees were eventually elected. And the board, in line with its constitutional mandates approached the Corporate Affairs Commission for registration of the association and was through upon fulfilling the mandatory registration requirements under the companies and allied matters act 1, 1990 part c of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as “The Sabbath Elders Association of Nigeria”. This development marked a great turning point in the life of the group as more intense efforts were unspared towards bringing the elders in the faith under one umbrella.

Based on one of its objectives of cooperating with any other group having similar or allied interests, the Evangelical train was taken to a sister group at Ojo, Lagos, named, “The Sabbath Men Association of Nigeria”, where a memorandum of understanding was reached paving way for merger process. This process matured, brought both bodies together into one, big body, ” THE SABBATH ANOINTED ELDERS AND MEN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA” in the year 2017, and its registration certificate of incorporation issued same year by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
